Spanish Dagger is a full sun, drought tolerant plant the grows in many areas of the Southwest. These plants can grow up to 8-10' tall and spread wide or kept narrow depending on the number of trunks they develop. These plants can be used in all landscape styles from low water desert scapes to tropical oasis. Yucca gloriosa is a very easy to maintain clumping plant that tolerates full sun to part shade.
* Accent Plant
*Tropical effect as well as xeriscape

Every time a plant is watered, the soil should be thoroughly saturated to a depth of at least 2 to 3 feet and at least as wide as a tree well. Very slow and deep watering is always recommended. During periods of extreme heat, we advise at least 1 additional time per week of watering for all varieties. For periods of heavy rain (1/2” or more) adjust accordingly by possibly skipping a watering session for that time.
I love that this yucca looks like some sort of tropical plant or even something you'd see under the ocean. It takes almost no attention to keep this thing looking good, so its amazing that it looks as green as it does.
