"Sweet Acacias are really good if you want a small, hardy desert tree that gets a bit of color. However, there might be some other trees you could like more than the acacia. Palo Verdes get a yellow color and grow a bit faster but don't get as messy, but if you want that dark bark color you could choose a Mesquite. Again, they grow faster and have nicer foliage. The Acacia isn't bad, its just that for most homeowner's needs, there are better options. The guys at Moon Valley are all awesome though and will guide you into the best tree for your project. "
