Split-leaf Philodendron is one of the most dramatic tropical plants that thrive in the desert. Large leaves to 2' long and 18' wide have'splits' making them look like elephant's ears. They grow very well in full shade indoors or out. In morning sun they will have smaller leaves. Philodendron need very well drained soil high in organic matter. Plant them using Omni compost mixed with native dirt or remove the soil completely and plant in top quality potting soil.
"I picked up a couple of these at my local Moon nursery for my indoor garden to help fill in some of my planting arrangements. I wish I could show you all pictures, but the plants at Moon Nurseries are top notch and have helped completely redefine my indoor living space. "
